The small parts took the work
This duck is only about 2.2 inches tall when finished, so every line had to earn its place. I had to keep the duck shape round and readable, leave room for the sunglasses, and still make the fluffy fringe work cleanly in a 4x4 hoop. On a piece this small, a tiny shift changes the whole face.
I also had to draw it for two finishes instead of one. The eyelet version and the snap tab version use the same duck idea, but they do different jobs in daily use, so I tested both layouts before I let it go.
The fringe mattered most here because it gives the duck that soft, fuzzy look instead of a flat outline. I kept the project simple to stitch in the hoop, and I included photo instructions for making the key fob. The instruction file is from another project, but the method is the same, so you can follow the same steps on this duck without guessing.
