A festive deer that stays light
A lot of holiday designs get heavy fast, especially on baby clothes and kids' shirts where a big filled shape can turn stiff. I built Tinsel as a patchwork silhouette so you still get a full reindeer shape, but the patterned sections let the fabric show through instead of covering the whole body with dense stitching. That changes how the finished piece feels, and it also gives you that mixed-fabric look without extra piecing steps.
The antlers and outline keep the deer clear and readable, even with the open patterned body. That matters on busy holiday prints and small gift items. You can stitch him on boys' outfits, baby pieces, and Christmas gifts without the design looking flat or too solid.
