I built this one with a clear second layer behind each letter, so the shadow gives the word more shape without making it stiff or blocky. You still get that casual handwritten feel. The extra color does real work.
That matters most on everyday gifts. Baby pieces, beach towels, and personal items need a name that looks friendly but still reads fast from a few feet away.
This set also gives you room to match the project instead of forcing every name into one scale. I included nine sizes, from 1 inch up to 5 inches, plus uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation. If you use embroidery software that reads BX, you can type with the font directly. If you prefer working from machine files, those are included too in the main embroidery formats.
