Small text can be the hardest part of a project. You need it to fit on a cuff, a corner, a bib, or a small pocket, but you still want it easy to read after stitching. I made this font in four compact sizes from 0.6 inch up to 1.2 inches, and I kept the look simple: block letters built in a cross stitch style with a shadow behind them. That gives the lettering shape without making it fussy.
The real problem with tiny alphabets is uneven-looking words. One letter can suddenly look shorter or drop away from the rest, and the whole name feels off even if the stitching is clean. Here the letter height was fixed so the set sits together neatly, including letters like s and v. That matters on monograms, short names, and little labels where every bit of spacing shows.
This is also a practical set if you like typing names straight into software instead of placing one file at a time. I included BX, along with the regular machine formats, so you can build words faster and still keep the same stitched look shown in the sample. The set includes uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers 0 through 9. If you want a small block font with a cross stitch feel that stays readable, this one was made for that job.

I'm silly and thought this was a cross stitch pattern, not a cross stitch style embroidery pattern- BUT I can still sort of follow it for counted cross stitch! :) Very clear, thank you!
