If you are standing at your machine trying to finish a quick gift, this set keeps the choice simple. I included the whole A-Z alphabet, so you can stitch the letter you need without hunting for a separate monogram file. The eyelet version fits a 4x4 hoop, and the snap tab key fob fits a 5x7 hoop. The finished piece is about 3.1 inches, which is a handy size for keys, backpack pulls, and small shop extras.
The raised look comes from foam batting, so the letter has real height instead of looking flat. That part matters. It gives a plain keychain a bold monogram look without making the project complicated to finish.
I also included PDF instructions with a lot of photos, because this kind of project is easier when you can see each step in order. Stitchers have told me the file runs cleanly and the directions help, and one buyer shared that she changed the puff by using different foam thicknesses on different letters. That is useful if you want to test a softer or fuller look before making a whole batch.
“These files are fun! I used 2 layers in the K for a puffer look vs the A with 1 layer. I used cheap Walmart craft foam, a leather needle (to help perpetrate the foam), slowest speedy machine would go. And I ran the perforation step twice to help cut the foam more. Thanks again Artapli!”
