How to Stitch This Design
- Download the included PES, DST, EXP, VIP, HUS, XXX, JEF and VP3 files and unzip using Artapli's How to unzip instructions.
- Choose a design size (0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.3 or 1.6in) and hoop your fabric in a compatible hoop (4x4, 5x7 or 6x10) that gives enough clearance for the chosen size.
- Set thread: single-color design (1 color). The stitch count for a typical glyph is 911; use a standard polyester embroidery thread and a matching bobbin.
- Stitching technique: use a bean/raised bean stitch setting — stitch slowly for even density, use a light water-soluble topping on plush fabrics, and stabilize with a lightweight cut-away for best raised effect.
- Finishing: remove topping (if used), trim stabilizer as needed, press from the back with a pressing cloth, and trim threads to showcase the clean bean-stitch script.

This is a raised bean stitch font: a single-color, handwriting-style alphabet designed to produce a narrow, raised script line. Each glyph is compact (sizes 0.6–1.6in) with a total stitch count of 911 for the example character set.
What hoop sizes fit this design?
Design sizes are 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.3 and 1.6 inches and the files are compatible with 4x4, 5x7 and 6x10 hoops—choose the hoop that gives clearance for your selected size.
question about difficulty level or beginner friendliness
This font is beginner-friendly: it uses a single color and low, compact stitch counts, making hooping and placement simple for small monograms. Basic experience with hooping small projects and stabilizer choice will ensure the best raised bean effect.
