OVERVIEW

Embrilliance is modern embroidery software for Mac and Windows, designed for

home embroiderers. It uses modular pricing with different capability levels.

USING ARTAPLI DESIGNS IN EMBRILLIANCE

Importing Designs

1. Download and extract Artapli ZIP
2. Open Embrilliance
3. File > Merge Design (or drag and drop)
4. Select any embroidery format (DST, PES, JEF, etc.)
5. Design appears on canvas ready for editing

Recommended Format

• Any format works with Embrilliance
• PES recommended (includes color data)
• DST works but requires color assignment

EMBRILLIANCE BX FONTS

BX is Embrilliance's proprietary font format. Key features

• Type complete words and sentences
• Automatic spacing and baseline
• Instant editing
• Multiple sizes in one font file

Using Artapli BX Fonts

Many Artapli alphabets include BX format. Check product description for

"BX font included for Embrilliance."

Installing BX Fonts

Method 1 (Automatic)

• Double-click BX file
• Embrilliance imports automatically
• Font appears in lettering menu

Method 2 (Manual)

• Open Embrilliance
• File > Merge Design
• Select BX file
• Font installs to library
• Access via lettering tools

Using BX Fonts

1. Click "A" (text tool) in toolbar
2. Select Artapli BX font from dropdown
3. Type your text
4. Font renders with proper spacing
5. Adjust size with slider (increments provided in font)
6. Modify letter spacing if needed

• Resizing fringe or puffy designs
• Converting formats repeatedly
• Using "Simplify Stitches" (destroys intentional detail)

EMBRILLIANCE WORKFLOW WITH ARTAPLI

1. Open Embrilliance Essentials or Enthusiast
2. Merge Artapli design
3. Add text using Artapli BX font
4. Adjust colors and positioning
5. Save as BE file for future editing
6. Export to your machine format (PES, JEF, etc.)
7. Transfer to USB for stitching

SPECIALTY DESIGNS IN EMBRILLIANCE

Fringe Designs

• Import as-is
• Do NOT resize
• Do NOT use "Remove Tiny Stitches"
• Stitch exactly as provided

Puffy Foam Designs

• Import without modification
• Check color sequence (first color often placement)
• Export to machine format without optimization

BX Fonts with Specialty Effects

Some Artapli BX fonts include special effects

• Applique fonts: Follow color stops carefully
• Fringe fonts: Use provided sizes, don't resize
• Puffy fonts: Match to specified foam thickness

TROUBLESHOOTING EMBRILLIANCE

Issue: BX font won't install

Solution: Check Embrilliance version. Update to latest. Verify BX file is not

corrupted (re-download). Some BX fonts require Enthusiast or AlphaTricks.

Issue: Design looks different than preview

Solution: Embrilliance preview is simplified. Use "Realistic" view mode for

accurate representation. Actual stitch-out will match design.

Issue: Can't find installed BX font

Solution: Look in lettering dropdown. BX fonts appear by name. Use search

function if you have many fonts installed.

Issue: Typed text has spacing issues

Solution: Some fonts need spacing adjustment. Use letter spacing slider.

Different sizes may need different spacing settings.
