The shadow had to sit just right
The part that took me the longest was the offset shadow. A handwritten script can go wrong fast if the second color sits too far away or pushes too close into the main letter. I kept working on the spacing so the shadow reads clearly, but the word still feels like one piece of lettering instead of two separate shapes.
