A flower bouquet with real texture
A lot of floral embroidery designs give you shape and color, but this one also gives you lift. The sunflower and rose peony petals are built with loose satin areas that get opened from the back after stitching, so the finished bouquet has that soft fuzzy surface instead of a flat stitched fill. That change matters. It gives the flowers a fuller look without turning the design into something hard or heavy on the fabric.
I also built in a seam to hold the fringe down well, because pretty fringe is not enough if it starts coming loose after use. This bouquet is made to be washed, and the fringe stays anchored while still fluffing up around the flowers.
The process is simple once you know what to look for. Stitch the design normally, turn the hoop over, cut the bobbin thread along the large satin stitches, then turn it back and fluff the fringe. I include a PDF with the steps, and the same basic method is shown in the linked fringe tutorial video. If you have seen plenty of flower files before, this is the part that sets this one apart. It finishes with a soft chenille feel instead of a standard satin or fill-stitch surface.
