If you are standing there with a plain sweatshirt and trying to decide if this one is worth cutting into, this is the design I made for that moment. The whole point is the side seam bow opening, with a spooky Halloween look that still reads sweet on a girls shirt or sweatshirt. It is a fill stitch design with lace effect details, so the finished bow has shape and visible texture instead of looking flat.
I included the main sizes in 6, 7, 8, and 9 inch heights, and I also made a 4 inch version divided into two parts so it can fit a 4x4 hoop. That split file matters if you stitch on a smaller machine. One buyer told me she loved that it came as a split design because it worked in her smaller hoop, and another said it was her first side bow and it still stitched out well.

Wash the finished item at the temperature recommended for your thread. I suggest turning it inside out, using a washing bag, and doing light combing afterward if needed.
