Made for soft texture and a clear shape
This design starts with the finished look on fabric. I wanted that soft, fuzzy edge around the body to do the work, so the shape stays simple and easy to read from across the room. Iceman has a rounded yeti outline, a small face, and the hand heart front and center. That makes it a good fit for kids projects, playful Valentine stitching, and anything that needs a friendly Bigfoot instead of a wild one.
The fluffy part is simple to finish. You stitch the design, turn the hoop over, cut the bobbin thread along the large satin stitches, then turn it back and fluff the fringe.
I also built this one to hold up after the fun part is done. There is a seam under the fringe that keeps it in place through washing, so the texture is not just for one careful use. I included five heights from 5 inches through 8 inches, which gives you room to stitch a smaller kid-sized project or a bigger statement design without changing the character of the yeti.

Cut the bobbin thread before you wash away the water-soluble stabilizer. For this fringed finish, that is the step that lets you fluff the loose satin areas properly.
