Freestanding lace angel wings with a curly princess bow, for girls' hair accessories, dress embellishments and gifts.
The finished wings are about 4 to 4.5 inches. Stitched on wash-away stabilizer, then rinsed and dried, so the lace stands on its own. Put the pieces together and add a few hand stitches in the center of the bow.

Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.
