Four simple little cars in fill stitch and applique, easy designs for boys' shirts, pockets, bibs and bags.
Four cars in applique in 3.5, 3.7 and 4 inches, and in fill stitch in 2, 2.5 and 3 inches (one car in 1.5, 2, 3 and 3.5 inches). The applique edge is covered with a nice wide satin stitch.

Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.
