Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.

A really cute design that stitched out well. There was a lot of extra tack down stitching that probably wasn't necessary. This design certainly won't fall off the garment! My grandson loves tractors, and it gets his seal of approval!
