Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.

Isn't this just the cutest little holiday train? I think so. There are so many options for using this design. Stockings, tree skirts, table runners, placemats, goodie bags, pillow cases, t-shirts, etc. Just change the applique fabric and you have a whole new train! Love,Love, Love it!!!!
