The design in size 4" I divided into two parts for better fit a 4x4 hoop - the ears and eyes-nose are separate files

Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.
