A rainbow dandelion blowing fluffy fringed seeds, made in the hoop. Soft and playful on kids' shirts, pillows and nursery decor.
The dandelion comes in six sizes: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 inches. For the 4, 5 and 6 inch sizes the fluffy seed petals are stitched separately; they come in 2 and 2.5 inches. The long satin stitches are cut on the back and fluffed into fringe, and a hidden seam holds it in place, so it is safe to wash.

Absolutely safe for washing! Simply stitch the design, then turn your hoop over to view the back. Cut the bobbin threads behind the satin stitches, and fluff up the fringe.

This is such a unique embroiery design. The rainbow dandelion stitched out beautifully, after snipping the bobbin threads the dandelion looks stunning. I still need to practice cutting the bobbin threads a bit more.
