A fluffy fringed ostrich in applique, a fun bird for kids' shirts, pillows and bags.
The ostrich comes in five sizes: 4, 5, 5.5, 6 and 7 inches. Stitch it as an applique, then cut the bobbin thread under the long satin stitches and fluff up the fringe. A tack seam holds the fringe, so it is safe to wash.
