A western friendship bracelet in freestanding lace with cowboy charms, a sweet gift for rodeo fans and cowgirls.

A long lace chain, about 37 inches, to wear as a bracelet or necklace, plus six charms with loops: heart, star, hat, horse, cowboy boots and horseshoe, each about 1 to 1.5 inches. Stitched on wash-away stabilizer, then rinsed and dried, so the lace stands on its own. The stitching makes the chain strong but delicate looking.

Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.
