Absolutely safe for washing! Simply stitch the design, then turn your hoop over to view the back. Cut the bobbin threads behind the satin stitches, and fluff up the fringe.

Stitched out great and was exactly what I wanted! Instructions were very clear and helpful for the fringe of the boots. I suggest using a different color than the bobbin to help when cutting the back with the fringe.
