I created these designs for people who are limited by hoop sizes. With these designs, it is possible to make embroideries larger than the available hoop size.

The photo shows designs made in a 4x4 inch embroidery hoop.

Designs stitched in a 4x4 hoop have a finished height of approximately 6 inches.
Designs stitched in a 5x7 hoop have a finished height of approximately 9 inches.

Dorothy and Glinda are very easy to make and are completed 100% in the hoop. The only thing you need to do is prepare the skirt, sew the sides by hand, and attach it during the embroidery process.

Tin Man and Scarecrow are made by hooping the design twice during the embroidery process.

Also included are the classic full designs in 7-inch height for the 5x7 hoop.

Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.
