Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.

sewn on both organza which then needs stiffening to keep shape if want 3d and or water soluble which I shaped while wet so keeps its 3d shape
