A 3D patriotic butterfly with freestanding lace wings on a star base. Lovely on towels, shirts, bags, table linens and pillows for the 4th of July.

The butterfly comes in four widths: 5.5, 6, 7 and 8 inches. The flag-print lace wings are stitched first; the star base with the butterfly body then attaches them to your item for a raised look.

Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.
