Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.

I make quite a bit of free standing lace, so I was excited to make these. I wasn't able to use my washaway stabilizer as the design just balled up. However once I received my order of the recommended stabilizer it stitched out beautifully. A quick and easy project.
