A floral unicorn with a rainbow and a cloud, made as an applique for girls' shirts, pillows, blankets and birthday outfits.
The design comes in two large sizes: 7 and 9 inches. It is an applique with a unicorn, a rainbow and a cloud.
Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.

I stitched the 6x10 size in PES format. The last few stitches had some digitizing issues, specially the bottom of the flowers do not cover the tack down. The top of the flowers stitched fine. I stitched this section twice, shifting the design slightly. In the end, it gave the flowers a dimensional look. This is a lot of appliqué and 43 thread changes. In the end, it was worth it. My granddaughter loves it and won’t take the shirt off.

As I wanted this design for an older child, I decided to stitch it out without adding the applique step. The satin stitch looked lovely on it's own and my customer was very happy.
