A small fluffy fringed rooster, a farmhouse touch for kitchen towels, aprons, pot holders and kids' shirts.
The rooster comes in four sizes: 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5 inches. Stitch as usual, then cut the bobbin thread under the long satin stitches and fluff up the fringe. A tack seam holds the fringe in place, so it is safe to wash.

Absolutely safe for washing! Simply stitch the design, then turn your hoop over to view the back. Cut the bobbin threads behind the satin stitches, and fluff up the fringe.

Beautiful! Easy to stitch out. A little challenging to cut the back threads, but it didn’t seem to need to be precise. Anna ‘s work is some of the nicest work i have done! While i could probably never recoup my costs on investment with this stitch, it is beautiful and unique to gift.
