The shamrock comes in three sizes: 5, 6 and 7 inches tall. It is freestanding lace stitched on wash-away stabilizer, tied at the split seam like a bow.

Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.
