An old-fashioned Valentine heart with a festoon edge in a darker, dolly style, stitched as two-layer applique. For pillows, tote bags, shirts and Valentine gifts.

The heart comes in ten sizes: 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 7 and 8 inches. Two layers of applique fabric sit inside a scalloped festoon border.

What's included

Two-layer applique heart with festoon edge

Stitch the placement line, place a piece of appliqué fabric over it, then stitch the tack-down line. Trim the excess fabric close to the seam, and finish with the cover stitches.
