A dimensional butterfly with freestanding lace wings, attached in the hoop. Pretty on girls' clothes, bags, hair accessories and gifts.
The butterfly comes in ten sizes, from about 1.9 to 5 inches. The lace wings are stitched on water-soluble stabilizer, then laid on your item and fixed by stitching the body over them.
What's included
- 3D freestanding lace butterfly
- 10 sizes, about 1.9 to 5 in
Freestanding lace! I recommend using Vilene or any other fabric-like water-soluble stabilizer (not the clear film type).
Simply hoop only the water-soluble stabilizer, stitch out the design, rinse away the stabilizer, and let it dry.

Didn't stitch out as planned. It's a very nice design, but it didn't stitch out as pictured. On a 4x4 hoop, it was compacted, and had some problem toward the end. I did not modify it aside from choosing different colors.
