How do I place a name exactly where I want it on my item?

Short answer: Add a photo of your item and press Calibrate. Drag the ruler across something you measured, like the pocket, and type its length. Now the hoop and the name sit on your item at real size. The photo never goes into your file.

Steps on a computer

1. Take a photo of your item. Then open the photo button, and add your picture.
2. Press Calibrate. Drag the ruler ends across something you measured, like the pocket, type its length, and apply.
3. Now the photo is at real size. The hoop and the name sit on your item exactly as big as they will stitch.
4. Drag the photo until the name sits where you want it.
5. Make the photo lighter, and lock it, so it stays put while you work. The photo never goes into your file.
