My Etsy order number "is not valid" when I try to link it
Short answer: Sign in to Artapli Studio, open Etsy Orders in your Library and type the 10-digit order number from your Etsy receipt. Your Etsy designs and fonts then show up in your Library and in the Lettering tool. You only do this once per order.
If the number is refused, the message tells you why. The fixes are below.
Steps
1. Sign in to Artapli Studio
Go to studio.artapli.com/library/. If you're not signed in, you'll see Open your Artapli library and a Continue with Shopify button. This takes you to the artapli.shop sign-in page. Sign in with your email. If you've also bought on artapli.shop, use the same email as those purchases.
2. Open Etsy Orders
In your Library, click Etsy Orders. If no order is connected yet, the Link Your Etsy Orders box opens.
3. Find your Etsy order number
The order number is 10 digits, for example 3969795617.
- In your email: search for your Etsy receipt from Artapli. The subject looks like Download Your Etsy Purchase from Artapli (1234567890). The number in brackets is your order number.
- On Etsy in a web browser: go to your profile → Purchases and reviews. The Order # is shown with each order.
It's fine to paste #3969795617 or Order #3969795617. Only the digits are kept.
4. Connect it
Type or paste the number into the box that says Enter Etsy Order Number (e.g., 1234567890) and click Link Order. You'll see Verifying your Etsy purchase…, then Purchase connected. Updating your Library…
When it's done, your Library switches to your Etsy purchases. From now on, Etsy Orders shows them, and Link another Etsy order connects the next one.
5. Use it in Lettering
Fonts from a connected order open in the Lettering tool too, with nothing extra to do. The Lettering tool has its own Etsy Orders tab with a Link Order button. It does the same thing, so use whichever page you're on.
When the number is refused

To write to us, use Report a problem at the bottom of the Library page, or click the person button (top right) to open Your account and choose Report a problem or Contact support there. Under Support details the panel also has Copy support reference, a private code that helps us find your account without your email or password. Never send us your password.

I tried to link my Etsy order to get the lettering tool and it keeps saying it is not valid.
Use the 10-digit order number from your Etsy receipt, not a transaction or listing number. The order also has to be from Artapli's Etsy shop. Very new orders may need a little time.

Do I need an artapli.shop account if I only bought on Etsy?
Yes. Studio signs you in through artapli.shop. Then you connect the Etsy order once.
It says the order is already connected to another account.
You probably linked it before with another email. Sign in with that email, or write to us with the order number.
Do I have to link every time?
No. Once an order is connected, it stays connected to your account.
I bought two Etsy orders.
Connect each one. After the first, use Link another Etsy order.
It says too many tries.
After five wrong numbers you need to wait 15 minutes. Check the number before trying again.
