Using Starred and Striped BX Fonts in Embrilliance

This guide will show you how to use our Starred and Striped font styles in Embrilliance software. If you require these fonts in another embroidery format, please let us know.

This set includes two font styles—Striped and Starred—each available in multiple sizes. You can install the BX fonts by simply dragging and dropping the files into your Embrilliance software.

How to Create a Stars-and-Stripes Monogram

Here’s how to create a monogram with the first letter in the "Starred" style and the second and third letters in the "Striped" style:

Step 1: Add the First Letter (Starred Font)

  1. Click the “A” button to create a new lettering object.
  2. Type the first letter of your monogram (for example, "A").
  3. From the font menu, choose the Starred font (e.g., CircleFont_Stars_MGM) and select your desired size.

Step 2: Add the Second and Third Letters (Striped Font)

  1. Click the “A” button again to create a second lettering object.
  2. In the text box, type a single space, followed by the second and third letters of your monogram (e.g., “ BC”).
  3. From the font menu, choose the Striped font (e.g., CircleFont_Striped) in the same size as the first letter.

Why add a space? The space tells Embrilliance to skip the first letter position, ensuring your design lines up correctly with only the last two letters appearing in the striped style.

Step 3: Adjust and Align

  1. Move the two lettering objects so that the letters align perfectly to form a complete, centered monogram.
  2. You can fine-tune the spacing by dragging the objects or using the software's alignment tools.
