Farm Memory Game Tutorial
Important Note
You may need to pause the machine and take the hoop out during this project, but please do not unhoop your work! The backing is taped behind the hoop.
Project Details
The "Farm Memory Game" project includes 15 pairs of matching tiles and is completed 100% in the hoop.
Hooping Instructions by Size

For 6x10 Hoop
You will get the full game in two hoopings. Simply stitch the “Farm_animals_game_6x10_all” file two times.
General Instructions Overview
Here is a quick summary of how to make these two-sided felt projects:
- Hoop your stabilizer and the first piece of felt, which will be the front of the game tiles.
- Embroider all the decorative elements.
- Remove the hoop from the machine (do not unhoop) and apply the backing fabric behind your hoop, securing it with tape.
- Stitch the final step, which is a decorative stitch that secures the two layers together.
Stitching Instructions
Hoop a tear-away stabilizer with a piece of felt. Attach the hoop to the machine and stitch the entire design until you reach the last step (the final outline).
It is helpful to use tape to ensure the fabric stays flat while stitching.
Before the final step, take the hoop out of the machine, but do not unhoop your project.
Attach the lining/facing fabric to the back of the hoop.
Please ensure there is plenty of excess fabric around the perimeter. I am securing the lining with tape or pins.
Return the hoop to the machine and stitch the final outline seams, which are the boxes around each tile. This will tack down the lining.
Unhoop the project and carefully cut out the individual game tiles along the stitched lines.
