Snowballs, fight!!!
"Snowball Fight!" ITH Stuffie Tutorial
Materials and Preparation
Hoop a tear-away stabilizer with one piece of minky fabric. A bi-stretch fabric is recommended.
Stitching Instructions
Step 1: Embroider the Front
Stitch the face and the first trimming outline.
When the front embroidery is complete, pause the machine before the last seam (the final outline) and lay the second piece of fabric on top.
Step 2: Final Seam and Finishing
Place the backing fabric with right sides together. Stitch the final outline seam. It is recommended to select an outline thread color that is close to your fabric color.
Unhoop the project and cut out the shape. I used zig-zag scissors, but you can also use regular scissors and make clips into the seam allowance every ⅓ inch.
Gently tear away the stabilizer.
Now it is time to give the future snowball its round shape. You will need to cut out the stitched triangle at the bottom, following seam number 1.
Turn the snowball right side out through the opening.
Fill it with padding—fill it tight!
Pin the opening closed.
Sew the opening closed by hand.
