Simple and Sweet 3D Bow

The bow shown above is made from only two pieces. The center circle is built into the main bow piece. Below is the technical image of the design file.

Below are the default instructions that apply to all Artapli lace bows.

You will need to have all the lace pieces from the Bow embroidery design stitched out and ready for assembly.

All the separate FSL pieces for a multi-part bow, laid out flat.

Required Pieces

You should have the following pieces:

  • One ribbon piece (the main bow)
  • A middle decoration piece (optional crown or center)
  • A bottom flourish or tail piece

Assembly Instructions

Begin by taking the main ribbon piece.

Holding the main ribbon piece of the FSL bow.

Fold it in half.

The two ends should be touching, as shown.

Hand-stitch those two ends together securely.

Stitching the ends of the bow piece together by hand.

To add the tail, just stitch or glue it directly to the back of your bow.

Next, add the crown (optional).

Placing the optional crown piece on top of the bow.

Stitch all three layers together to complete the bow.
