How to Use Alphabets in Embird

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use your purchased alphabet files inside Embird Embroidery Software by mapping each letter to your keyboard. This makes it quick and easy to type full words using your alphabet set.

🧵 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Embird and click on Editor to switch to the Editor window.
  2. Go to the top menu and click Insert → choose “Ready-made Alphabet Text”.
  3. In the pop-up window, click the “Add Ready-made Alphabet” button.
  4. Then click “Add Folder”.
  5. Browse and select the folder that contains your alphabet files (one file per letter).
  6. Now map each character:
    • Right-click on a letter
    • Choose the corresponding keyboard letter it represents (for example, map "A" to A, "B" to B, etc.)
  7. Click OK to save your mapped alphabet.
  8. Now go to Insert → Ready-made Alphabet Text again
  9. Choose your newly created alphabet from the dropdown menu
  10. Start typing your word or phrase, then click OK to insert it into your project
